The parade through the streets of Brighton is watched from every vantage point. Deputy Chief Constable Giles York from Sussex Police was tweeting pictures on the route to Preston Park.

As usual, the parade through the streets of Brighton is a colourful affair.

Brighton's Pride event was free until 2010 but was dogged by money problems and complaints about overcrowding and litter. The event at Preston Park has been ticketed since then.
