Brighton council considers selling King's House

The proposal to sell King's House will be considered by councillors at a meeting next week
The headquarters of Brighton and Hove City Council could be sold for about £9m as part of cost-saving measures.
A report says it would help reduce the authority's costs and raise funds for better computer systems, greater energy efficiency and digital communication.
If sold, the Grade II listed King's House, in Grand Avenue, Hove, could be used for private and social housing.
The proposal will be discussed at the policy and resources committee meeting, external next Thursday.
It estimates the changes could save about £700,000 per year in running costs.
