Almost 20 new "talking buses" are to be introduced on routes linking West Sussex and Surrey to help those with visual impairments.

Metrobus is about to start running 18 vehicles equipped with audio-visual displays giving stop announcements and route information.

A report by the charity Guide Dogs UK found 80% of people with sight loss found travelling by bus difficult.

The bus company also said drivers would receive extra training.
