Man killed in Christmas Day Brighton flat stabbing

A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder

A man was stabbed to death at a flat in Brighton on Christmas Day.

The 24-year-old victim from Rustington, West Sussex, was fatally injured at a block of flats in Montague Street at about 01:00 GMT.

Police said a 30-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detectives from Sussex Police are still trying to establish exactly what happened, but a force spokeswoman said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out later.
