Two Sussex police officers face assault charges

Two Sussex police officers have been charged with assault.
Eastbourne-based PC Robert Rangeley, 35, and Lewes-based PC Paul Bridger, 32, are both accused of assault occasioning ABH.
The charges relate to an incident in South Street, Eastbourne, where paramedics treated a man aged 33 for a head injury in the early hours of 5 January.
The man was taken to hospital for with injuries to his head, face and hand.
PC Rangeley and PC Bridger are due to appear before Hastings magistrates on 26 April.
