Harley Simpson died in hospital nearly two weeks after the collision on Bexhill Road

A man has been charged with causing the death of an 11-year-old boy by dangerous driving.

Harley Simpson, of Bulverhythe Road, St Leonards, East Sussex, died last November after being involved in a collision with a car on 22 October.

Richard Stemler, 69, a sales representative of Wishing Tree Road, St Leonards, was arrested following the crash in Bexhill Road.

He has been bailed to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court on 25 May.
