Whale skeleton open to public after going into hiding

More than 150 years ago an enormous whale washed up on the beach at Norman's Bay in Pevensey, causing a sensation.

The carcass of the 70ft (21m) fin whale was first spotted on the 13th November 1865 and about 40,000 people travelled by train to a specially constructed station to see it.
