Appeal to reunite boy with toy lost on Aer Lingus flight

A family is appealing for help in reuniting a toddler with a cuddly toy lost on a flight from Gatwick to Knock.
Louise Regan-Alexander said her son Finn, aged two-and-a-half, left Mac the monkey down the side of a seat on the Aer Lingus aircraft on Tuesday.
A tweet appealing for help in finding Mac, external has been shared over 1,300 times.
Mrs Regan-Alexander, from Camberwell, south London, said Finn would be "devastated" if the toy could not be found.
The family were travelling to visit Mrs Regan-Alexander's parents in Ireland for Christmas when the toy was lost on the 12.50 GMT flight.

Mrs Regan-Alexander, an architect, said she was "overwhelmed" by the response to her tweet.
Some, including a seven-year-old boy, have offered to send their own like-for-like teddies.
"The response has been absolutely amazing. People's generosity is overwhelming," she said.
"We're still hoping Mac will turn up. We've told Finn he's gone back to London, but when he gets home and Mac's not there, he's going to be heartbroken."
The toy has not been handed in at either airport or to Aer Lingus.
