Southwick teen charged with murder after Brighton stabbing

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Brighton.

The teenager, from Southwick, West Sussex, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due at Brighton Youth Court on Tuesday.

It follows the death of Mustafa Momand, 17, in Queens Road on Thursday.

Det Ch Insp Alex Campbell said a weapon used in the attack, believed to be a knife, had not been found. He urged people to check gardens, bins and outbuildings.
