Police investigating a fire at a block of flats in which a woman died have concluded there were no suspicious circumstances.

Emergency teams were called to the blaze in Kingston Close, Hove, just after 05:00 BST on Tuesday, 24 October.

The victim, Louisa Tipping, 42, died a short time after being pulled from the building by fire services and treated by paramedics at the scene.

Sussex Police said there was no "third party involvement" in the blaze.

Police are now preparing a file for the coroner ahead of an inquest to take place at a date to be set.

A force spokesperson said: "Our thoughts remain with the victim's loved ones as they come to terms with this tragedy."
