Worthing arson arrest as car fire spreads to house

A 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of arson remains in police custody
A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a car fire spread to a house in West Sussex.
The vehicle, which was parked on a driveway in Ringmer Road, Worthing, was spotted on fire at about 04:50 GMT on Sunday.
The blaze spread to the property, but no-one was inside at the time.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. He remains in police custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
