Hailsham: Man denies murder over hit-and-run death

A man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 24-year-old man who was killed in a hit-and run crash in East Sussex.

Jack Field died at the scene after he was hit by a car in Diplocks Walk, off Western Road in Hailsham in November.

Kyle Dumble, 26, of no fixed address, also pleaded not guilty to attempted GBH with intent.

He will stand trial at Lewes Crown Court on 28 May.

Mr Dumble also pleaded guilty to disqualified driving at a pre-trial hearing at the same court on Thursday.
