Mohamed Abdelsalam was convicted after a trial at Lewes Crown Court

A man has been convicted of carrying out a series of sex attacks in Brighton.

Mohamed Abdelsalam, from Bristol Road in Brighton, was found guilty at Lewes Crown Court on 6 February of four counts of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration.

He had been arrested after four women reported being attacked on the seafront between 11 and 25 February 2023.

The 25-year-old is due to be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on 19 March.
