Seven people arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died at a holiday resort in East Sussex will face no further action, police have said.
Michael McDonagh, 53, was staying at Parkdean resort in Camber Sands when police were called to reports of a group altercation on 6 August, 2022.
Seven people were arrested after his death but no charges were brought.
Evidence gathered in the investigation will now be prepared for a coroner, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said.
The father-of-six, from London, was on holiday at the Lydd Road site with his wife and three of his children when he died.
Det Ch Insp Emma Vickers said a dedicated team had worked tirelessly to understand the events that led to Mr McDonagh's death.
"Seven people were arrested on suspicion of murder as part of this complex investigation. I can confirm all seven have now been released with no further action to be taken," he said.
"I would once again like to express my sincere condolences to Michael's family."
The CPS said charges of murder, manslaughter by unlawful act and manslaughter by gross negligence were considered against six individuals connected to the case.
"However, it remains the decision of the CPS that the legal test for prosecution is not met, and no criminal charges should be brought," a spokeswoman said.
"We understand this is deeply disappointing for Mr McDonagh's family and have written to them to explain our decision in more detail."
