A landmark Teesside footbridge has won a national award.
Stockton's Infinity Bridge is one of four winners in the "steelwork at its most dramatic" category of the Structural Steel Design Awards.
The arched structure, which is 393ft (120m) long and 104ft (32m) high, is used by more than 4,000 people a day.
The 2012 London Olympics aquatics centre, Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport and a complex for car manufacturer Audi in London also won the award.
Infinity Bridge opened in 2009 as part of a £15m revamp of the Stockton's riverside area.
Designed for pedestrians and cyclists, it provides a link across the River Tees between Stockton's NorthShore and the Teesdale area of Thornaby.
Councillor Bob Cook said: "The Infinity Bridge has quickly become a well-loved local landmark for Stockton-on-Tees and the whole of the Tees Valley.
"It is a brilliant, graceful design which demonstrates amazing skill and workmanship in its design and construction and it will help open up the NorthShore area for regeneration."
