Warning over Port Clarence wood recycling blaze
People living near a major wood recycling fire on Teesside have been told to keep doors and windows closed. Smoke from the blaze at the Jigsaw plant at Port Clarence, near Stockton, could be seen for miles.
Jean Orridge, head teacher of High Clarence Primary School, told Look North's Stuart Wincup that classes were continuing as normal despite the fire.
Noel Cornforth of Cleveland Fire Brigade, said officers would be at the scene for several days damping down.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of arson.
