Down to the Woods music festival cancelled over finances

Down to the Woods was to replace Hardwick Live
A new music festival which was set to feature Primal Scream and Chase and Status has been cancelled.
Organisers of Down to the Woods Festival blamed the "present financial climate and current ticket sales".
The festival was due to be held at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield, County Durham, on 13 and 14 August with an adult weekend ticket costing £99.
On their website organisers said, external all those who bought tickets will be contacted regarding a full refund.
Down to the Woods was the replacement for Hardwick Live which has been held for the past three years.
'Difficult decision'
Other bands set to appear included We Are Scientists, Echo and the Bunnymen and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
A spokeswoman told the Northern Echo, external tickets could be exchanged for entry and camping at Kendal Calling, another music festival starting on 28 July.
Down To The Woods weekend ticket holders may swap their ticket for a weekend ticket at Kendal Calling with camping included at no extra charge.
A statement said: "Due to the present financial climate and current ticket sales a decision has been made to not proceed with this year's inaugural Down To The Woods Festival.
"Having taken a long hard look at this year's event, we have had to make this very difficult decision which has not been taken lightly to cancel this year's festival."
