A man has pleaded not guilty to murdering his ex-partner's toddler son almost 50 years ago.
David Dearlove is accused of killing 19-month-old Paul Booth, from Stockton, who died in hospital in 1968.
Appearing at Teesside Crown Court via videolink, the 70-year-old, from Great Yarmouth, denied four other charges, including manslaughter and child cruelty involving two other children.
Mr Dearlove will go on trial on 13 November.
