Two men have been charged with burgling the home of a nurse while she was treating patients with coronavirus.
Police said her unwashed uniform was among items stolen from her home and car in Darlington on Saturday.
Appearing via video at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court, Jamie Marriott, 30, and Scott Colling, 28, admitted theft from a car but denied burglary.
Marriott, of Stooperdale Avenue, and Colling, of Tansley Gardens, both in Darlington, were remanded in custody.
They will appear at Teesside Crown Court on 28 April.
Among the items stolen were a bike, laptop and guitar.
