Darlington hydrotherapy pool helps abandoned dogs

Dogs Trust in Darlington has unveiled its brand new rehoming centre, which includes a hydrotherapy pool, believed to be the charity's first in the country.

Staff are calling the facilities a "five star hotel for neglected dogs", with almost 80 new kennels and a veterinary suite.

Hydrotherapy helps dogs mentally and physically and is used for things such as post-surgery recovery, building up muscle mass and general mental stimulation.
