'I act like I'm not from a small town on stage'

Aiden Wilson started performing as drag queen Skankii Kandl in 2021.

The 20-year-old was born in Whitby and grew up in Middlesbrough - an environment he feels made coming out difficult.

He says embracing drag "saved" him.
