Middlesbrough: Man charged over woman's murder and attack on man

A man has been charged with murdering a woman and attempting to murder another man.
The body of Glenna Siviter, 50, was discovered at a house in Grimwood Avenue, Middlesbrough, on Friday, Cleveland Police said.
Detectives have linked an attack on a 45-year-old man that afternoon, near Laycock Street, to Ms Siviter's death.
A 46-year-old man has appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court and has been remanded in custody.
Police said a 45-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with Ms Siviter's death.
He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Ms Siviter's family is being supported by specially-trained officers.
Patrols are being stepped up near Grimwood Avenue and Laycock Street, and anyone with information, doorbell or dashcam footage, is being asked to contact police.
