Hartlepool: Pedestrian killed in three-car crash

A pedestrian has been killed in a crash which involved three cars on Teesside.
Cleveland Police said a Vauxhall Astra, Kia Sportage and Ford Puma collided on the A689 Stockton Road between Newton Bewley and Hartlepool just after 21:00 GMT on Friday.
A 38-year-man died at the scene and his family has been informed, the force added.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who had dashcam footage to come forward.
