A man who died after a car crash on Teesside has been named by police.

Nathan Hindmarsh crashed on the A135 Yarm Road, near Ashville Avenue, Eaglescliffe, at about 00:40 GMT on Sunday.

The 35-year-old, from Stockton, was taken to Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital where he died.

His family paid tribute to a "much-loved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who will always be in our hearts and never forgotten".

Cleveland Police has appealed for anyone who saw the white Mercedes AMG E250 travelling between Yarm High Street and the A135 to get in touch.
