A man has been injured after he was shot in Middlesbrough, in what police describe as a "targeted attack".
Cleveland officers were called to Richmond Court in Grangetown at about 03:35 BST on Monday.
A man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries believed to have been caused by a firearm, police said, and no-one has been arrested.
Detectives believe there was no wider threat to the community and added patrols had been upped in the area.
