- Published
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in a "targeted attack" in Teesside.
Officers were called to Wilton Way in Grangetown, near Middlesbrough, on Saturday.
A 20-year-old man was hurt but did not need to go to hospital.
It comes after eight people were arrested on Friday in connection with a firearms incident at a house in Richmond Court, Grangetown, on Monday.
Following the latest incident, three men, aged 29, 28 and 26, have been taken into custody.
Cleveland Police said there "should not be any wider threat to the community".
Extra patrols have been put in place, with officers attending a number of addresses.
Police have also been granted additional stop and search powers for the next 24 hours.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with criminal damage over the Richmond Court incident, with the seven other people bailed pending further inquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
