Duran Duran cancel Newcastle concert date

Duran Duran have been forced to cancel the opening date of their UK tour after lead singer Simon Le Bon developed a throat infection.
The band, best known for 1980s hits like Rio and Save A Prayer, were due to play at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on Wednesday.
A spokesman said the group regretted the decision but were left with no other option.
Ticket holders are being told to wait for a rescheduled date.
