A waterpark in North Tyneside which went into administration is to reopen.
Wet 'n' Wild in North Shields went into administration in October despite being profitable "for much of the year".
Moirai Capital Investments and Serco Leisure have formed a partnership to run the site, which will be given a £1.1m refurbishment before it reopens.
A spokesman for Serco Leisure said 67 full and part-time posts would be created.
The indoor waterpark, which opened in 1993, is due to get a new cafe and soft play area, as well as additional family changing facilities and showers.
The waterpark is expected to reopen later this year.
