Bariatric surgery patients 'feeling judged'

A study by Sunderland University has found some people who have had bariatric surgery can feel judged by other people.

One woman called Christine, who has lost 16st (100kg) since undergoing surgery, said people have told her the money spent on her operation could have helped someone with cancer or "saved a life".

She said: "What they don't realise is it has saved a life - mine."
