A1 Northumberland crash: Road closed near Shotton, Morpeth

Part of the A1 in Northumberland has been shut after one person was injured in a crash involving three vehicles.
The southbound carriageway of the road, between the B1337 and A19 near Shotton and Morpeth, remains shut to drivers.
Northumbria Police said the emergency services are on the scene. Diversions have been put in place.
One person suffered minor injuries. The latest disruption comes after earlier issues further north on the A1 when a lorry came off the road.
No injuries were reported, but the road between the A698 and A1167 near Berwick-Upon-Tweed was partially blocked for a number of hours.
The force said it had not been involved in a collision with any other vehicle.
