Swindon council staff warned about possible job cuts
- Published
Workers at Swindon Borough Council are to be warned about potential job losses at a series of staff briefings.
The council needs to save £15m and it is expected that up to 1,000 jobs will be lost over the next few years.
Sessions are being held for all staff across the day by chief executive Gavin Jones who will outline the possible cuts.
He will also explain the reductions in government grants the council is facing.
