A multi-million pound centre is to be set up in Wiltshire to help injured soldiers rebuild their lives.

The specialist site will open in Tidworth funded by the Help for Heroes charity.

It will boost the work already being done at the garrison to help wounded soldiers, who have suffered injuries and face a medical discharge.

The small unit brings together Ministry of Defence experts, civilians and charity workers.

It is hoped that this will eventually be part of a much bigger residential centre.

A spokesman for Help the Heroes said it was hoped the unit would be built in Tedworth House.
