Families move into new Wiltshire council homes

  • Published

Families in Wiltshire have moved into the first council homes to be built in the county in 30 years.

Fourteen new homes have just been completed in Trowbridge. The authority is building 65 houses and flats in the town and Salisbury.

Councillor John Brady said the council was "doing its best to provide as many new affordable homes as possible".

"I think we are doing better than a lot of other neighbouring local authorities in delivering these," he claimed.
