Swindon and District Samaritans get new outreach van

Swindon and District Samaritans have taken delivery of a new van to help with their work supporting vulnerable young people.

The vehicle is part of the Feet on the Street project.

The project sees volunteers go out in Swindon, Devizes and Wootton Bassett in the evenings and talk to young people at risk.

Funds for the van were raised by local charities and two Samaritans who drove across Europe in an old VW Golf.
