Honda car plant in Swindon to return to full production

  • Published

Honda's Swindon plant is to return to full production on 19 December.

More than 3,000 staff have been working reduced hours of three half-shifts per week since September because of supply problems.

Floods had stopped production at factories in Thailand that make some electronic components for Honda cars built at the Wiltshire plant.

A Honda spokesman said the supply chain had "improved sufficiently" in order to enable full production to resume.
