Westbury Swimming Pool closes weeks after reopening

A Wiltshire town swimming pool is to close again just weeks after it reopened following refurbishment work.
Westbury Swimming Pool closed in November for seven weeks while essential maintenance was carried out, before reopening on 7 January.
Wiltshire Council said it was to close again because some of the work was not carried out satisfactorily, and will need to be redone.
This includes the lining of the pool and some of the paintwork.
A council spokesman said the pool would close on 4 March.
He said: "Wiltshire Council will make every effort to keep this closure as short as possible, however it is anticipated the works might take three to four weeks to complete.
"The council, in partnership with DC Leisure who manage the facility on the council's behalf, will be contacting the local swimming club directly and customers are being advised to check the council's website for further information."
It will be repaired under warranty, so there will be no cost to the taxpayer.
