David Renard is new Conservative leader in Swindon

Swindon Borough Council's ruling Conservative group has elected a new leader to succeed Rod Bluh, who is standing down after seven years.
Councillor David Renard will take over when Mr Bluh steps down on 11 April at the next full council meeting.
Mr Renard who was the deputy leader of the group also holds the portfolio for children's services on the council.
"I'm delighted the group has shown trust in me to pick up Rod's mantle," said Mr Renard.
