Wiltshire's police and crime commissioner (PCC) Angus Macpherson, is seriously ill in hospital after suffering a heart attack.

The 60-year-old was taken ill "whilst undertaking his duties" at an event in Trowbridge on Friday, police said.

He was taken to hospital where he is in a serious condition, a spokesman said.
