Swindon M4 crash: Man killed and motorway closed

An 18-year-old man has been killed in a crash on the M4 motorway in Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Police said the BMW car crashed into the central reservation at 01:30 BST between junctions 14 and 15, the turnings for Hungerford and Swindon East.
A female passenger, aged 19, was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon with minor injuries.
The held-up traffic was allowed to pass through, but the motorway was closed in both directions for eight hours.
The family of the man, who is from Cardiff, has been informed of the death.
