A road has re-opened after three people were injured in a crash involving a bus and a car.
Emergency services were called to A4 Box Hill, near Chippenham, Wiltshire, at about 17:00 BST on Monday.
The female passenger of the car, a woman in her 40s, sustained multiple serious injuries but is now believed to be in a stable condition.
A newborn baby was involved in the crash but was unharmed, Wiltshire Police said.
The Volkswagen Golf was travelling on the A4 towards Chippenham when it crashed with a single decker bus which was travelling west towards Box.
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, sustained multiple fractured ribs and was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
The driver of the bus, which was not in service and had no passengers on board, sustained only minor injuries.
The road was closed overnight while collision investigators attended the scene and the incident was cleared.
Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
