Police are appealing for witnesses after thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to a building site.

A group of people went into the Kings Gate restricted building site in Amesbury, Wiltshire, over the weekend of 19 to 22 January.

They caused approximately £10,000 worth of damage to the site, buildings and surrounding property, police said.

They smashed doors, windows and broke through walls as well as daubing graffiti on floors and other surfaces.

Wiltshire Police want to hear from anyone who may have captured footage of the suspects approaching the site.

The graffiti included the phrases 'Team Extreme was here' and 'SP4 on Top'.

Police are asking anyone who may recognise these tags, or has information on who the individuals are, to get in touch.
