Driver seriously injured in A303 crash in Wiltshire

A main road has reopened after a man was seriously injured in a crash in Wiltshire.

Officers were called to the A303 just before 07:00 GMT after a van and car collided on the A303, said Wiltshire Police.

One of the drivers, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, the force said.

Part of the A303 was closed between the B3095 near Mere and the A350 near Chicklade, said National Highways.
