Swindon: Man charged with murder due at Bristol Crown Court

Grant Walker has been charged with murder

A man charged with murder and assault on an emergency worker is due to appear at crown court on 28 February.

Grant Walker, 32, from Faringdon Road, Swindon appeared before magistrates earlier on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.

Wiltshire Police said officers were called to an incident at an address in Rodbourne in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene, the force added.

Wiltshire police has offered its condolences to the family of the victim who are being supported by officers.
