Derry Hill: Motorcyclist in his 60s dies after A342 crash

A motorcyclist in his 60s has died following a crash with a car.

Wiltshire Police said the man's motorcycle collided with a car on the A342 at Derry Hill, near Calne, at around 13.30GMT on Sunday.

He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance but died from his injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage has been asked to get in touch with the force's Serious Collision Investigation Team.

The man's next-of-kin have been informed, Wiltshire Police said.

"Our thoughts are with them at this incredibly difficult time," the force said in a statement.
