A man caught speeding at 124mph has been fined and disqualified from driving.
Benjamin Vincent's BMW was recorded by police in a 70mph speed limit area at Woodbine Hill, on the A303 in Wiltshire, on 25 March 2023.
The 22-year-old, of Shroton, Dorset, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined £432, ordered to pay costs of £620, and a victim surcharge of £173.
He was also given a 42-day disqualification from driving.
Vincent was sentenced at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
PC Paul Davis, of Wiltshire Police, said: "This was incredibly reckless behaviour which could have caused a fatal collision on our roads.
"I hope Vincent spends his disqualification period re-evaluating his behaviour and the potential consequences of such poor driving."
