Swindon man charged with rape in town centre

A 32-year-old man has been charged with rape after an incident in a town centre last month.

Prinse Kessie, of Prospero Way, Swindon, was arrested following the offence in the Regents Street area of Swindon on 23 March.

Wiltshire Police said Mr Kessie appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody until 3 May when he will appear at Swindon Crown Court.
