Tockwith waste plant fire inquiry starts

The Health and Safety Executive is to begin looking into a large fire at a waste transfer plant in North Yorkshire.
Crews were called to BCB Environmental Management Ltd, Marston Moor Business Park, Tockwith, in the early hours of Wednesday.
At its height nearly 30 firefighters, five engines and the aerial ladder platform were tackling the fire.
North Yorkshire fire service said one engine remained at the scene overnight.
Demolition of the remainder of the building is expected to start at the site on Friday.
A spokesman for BCB said no-one had been injured and there was currently no indication as to how the fire started.
