North Yorkshire motorists warned as snow turns to ice

Drivers have been warned that treacherous road conditions in North Yorkshire may continue into Monday as snow turns to ice.
The area saw some of the heaviest snowfall across the region, with Church Fenton near Tadcaster reporting 16cm (6in) of snow on Saturday night.
A Met Office amber warning said ice would continue to be a hazard on roads and pavements.
Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man suffered spinal injuries in a sledging accident.
It is believed he was travelling down a steep bank when he came off his sledge at high speed.
He was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough following the incident in Terrington earlier on Sunday.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
'Severe' drifts
The public are being advised to take care and be prepared for travel disruption on Monday morning.
Police said they had been called to more than 60 accidents on North Yorkshire's roads on Saturday night because of the snowy conditions.
Sutton Bank on the edge of the North York Moors was closed in both directions on Saturday evening after a four-vehicle accident caused by ice.
The A169 between Pickering and Whitby was closed for a short time on Saturday as drivers experienced difficulties.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said its Robin Hood's Bay crew had helped several motorists stuck in "severe" snow drifts.
