Yorkshire Dales road crash leaves biker dead

A motorcyclist was killed when she crashed as she overtook a tractor on a North Yorkshire road.

Officers said the 42-year-old woman, from the Bingley area of West Yorkshire, died on the B6479, on Saturday.

She was riding towards Horton-in-Ribblesdale and officers are trying to determine the cause of the accident.

Officers want to trace the rider of a black Suzuki bike, who overtook the tractor just before the woman.
