Megan Roberts: Police concerned for missing student's safety

Concerns are growing for the safety of a student who went missing from a York nightclub four days ago.

Megan Roberts, 20, from Wetherby, was last seen at 02:00 GMT on Thursday in Popworld, in George Hudson Street, North Yorkshire Police said.

Officers say they are "very concerned" for her safety and have issued an urgent appeal for information,

Miss Roberts, who is studying at York St John University, was reported missing on Monday by her mother.

She is described as being about 5ft 6in (1.7m) tall, of medium build with long dark brown hair.

A police spokesperson said: "Nobody has heard from Megan since, which is very out of character and officers are very concerned for her safety."

They are appealing for Miss Roberts to contact her friends, family or the police to let them know she is safe

Anyone who may have seen her after Thursday is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or the Missing People, external charity.
